Strategic Alliance Business Group LLC (SABG), along with our employees, contributed $3,000 in donations to Willing Warriors, a nonprofit organization that provides calming, restorative retreats to wounded, ill, and injured service members and disabled veterans. We want to thank all our employees who participated this year in supporting this worthy initiative.
Each fall, SABG celebrates the season of thankfulness by hosting an Employee Donation Matching Drive. We choose a nonprofit organization that supports a cause meaningful to SABG and our community. Employees are encouraged to support the drive, and SABG then matches any employee donations made to the organization within a specified time frame.
This year’s beneficiary, Willing Warriors, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization offering cost-free getaways from the hospital environment where wounded, ill, and injured service members, disabled veterans, and their families can go to relax, spend quality time together, and reconnect. The programs include more than 40+ cost-free educational and recreational activities, including seminars that address the issues of dealing with post-traumatic stress (PTS) and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
The intended outcome of these retreat stays is to provide the time and space to the warrior and their family members so they can return to the routine of rebuilding their lives feeling refreshed and inspired. Willing Warriors’ full impact may be best summarized by this quote from a participating Warrior:
“Our time at the retreat helped remind us that this service and sacrifice has not been unnoticed or unappreciated which is sometimes hard to remember.”
SABG is proud to give back to our community, which includes many disabled, ill, and injured veterans and service members. Through hiring initiatives, mentorship programs, and focused donations, we appreciate the opportunity to say “thank you” to those who served.
