Strategic Alliance Business Group (SABG) is proud to announce that we have become an official partner of the U.S. Army Partnership for Your Success (PaYS) program.
The PaYS Program is a strategic partnership between the Army and a cross section of private industry, academia, and state and local public institutes. The U.S. Army PaYS program guarantees Soldiers five job interviews and possible employment after their service in the Army. The PaYS program is designed to help Soldiers prepare for a career after the Army by connecting them with employers who understand the skills, discipline, and work ethic that military service members bring to a business.
CEO Keri Mungo spoke of how this program supports SABG’s core values, stating, “As a company comprised of 50% veterans, I am proud of SABG’s commitment to our veterans and servicemembers, not only in the work we do but also in our recruiting and hiring practices. When a veteran joins our team, we know we are gaining a teammate with a unique and specialized skillset, as well as a dedication to SABG’s values of integrity, reliability, adaptability, and accountability. The partnership was commemorated with a ceremony on Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, in Huntsville, Alabama. In front of the PaYS team and several SABG Army veteran employees, the ceremony began with a performance of the National Anthem by SABG Strategic Planning Analyst Prudence Uhrich. LTC J. Michael Miles, Commander of the Montgomery Recruiting Battalion, and Keri signed a Memorandum of Agreement committing to the partnership. Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA) for North Alabama, Kristen McBride, delivered the keynote speech. SABG Deputy Program Manager and BG (retired) Phil Jolly also spoke.
Phil later expanded upon the benefits of hiring veterans: “Veterans and servicemembers bring a level of professionalism, discipline, and experience that sets them apart in the defense industry. Hiring these extremely capable, motivated patriots strengthens our company. It is an honor to partner with PaYS to share hiring opportunities with this exceptional group and bring them into the SABG family.”
