Strategic Alliance Business Group LLC (SABG) is pleased to announce our recent corporate sponsorship with Soul to Sole 5K.
Based in Huntsville, Alabama, Soul to Sole 5K is an annual event where individuals compete and raise money for the School of Specialized Learners at Lindsay Lane Christian Academy in Athens, Alabama. Participants are presented with various obstacles throughout the race and have no knowledge of what their next challenge is, similar to the real-life difficulties specialized learning students and their families face every day. SABG employee Stephany Wilkins participated in the event.
The School of Specialized Learners provides students regarded as “unique learners” an opportunity to receive a comprehensive education alongside their peers. This program supports children with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, from the preschool to elementary age groups. The goal of this program is to rid barriers for these students while providing an outstanding, inclusive educational setting where they can learn amongst children their own age.
In total, the 2021 Soul to Sole 5K raised over $10,000, which will go towards resources for these amazing children. This is SABG’s second year sponsoring this event, and we look forward to continuing our support for such a worthy cause. SABG and our employees continually seek opportunities to give back to our communities in meaningful ways, through sponsorships, volunteer time off, donation matching, veteran resources and recognition, an employee charity vote, and ad hoc giving.
