Strategic Alliance Business Group LLC (SABG) is pleased to announce a recent corporate sponsorship with the Hodi Project. The Hodi Project supports several charitable initiatives, modeling how to approach service in a distant country.
In this specific effort, Cans for A Cause, SABG employee Jonathan Knight partnered with his daughter’s school, Westminster Christian Academy (WCA), to raise funds to support construction of a playground in Kenya. These funds were collected over a period of 6-8 months, raised by collecting cans from his friends, family, and other SABG employees.
As the Hodi Project partners with WCA, students like Jonathan’s daughter, will learn to value cross-cultural relationships while expanding their thinking on the importance of serving others, no matter where they live on the globe.
With the current funds raised by people like Jonathan and his family, Valley Light Children’s Home Playground Building Project in Kenya will be able to install two new swings. By the end of the year, WCA hopes to raise enough money to purchase another piece of playground equipment.
