Strategic Alliance Business Group LLC (SABG) is pleased to announce our newest contract supporting the Federal Railroad Association (FRA). This is our second win under the Department of Transportation (DOT) Services for Technical Writing, Editorial, Presentation and Communications (STEPC) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) program.
SABG will assist the DOT’s Volpe Center with planning and coordination for the FRA’s 2024 National Railroad Conference, a gathering of FRA employees and stakeholders to discuss lessons learned and best practices in railroad project management.
The main mission of the FRA is to promote the safe, dependable, and structured movement of individuals and products nationwide. Through the STEPC BPA program, the FRA enforces safety and compliance in six key areas: grade crossing, hazardous material, motive power and equipment, operating practices, signal and train control, and track. Nearly 400 Federal Safety Inspectors, each specializing in one of the six disciplines, ensure rail regulation and inspection compliance.
