Strategic Alliance Business Group LLC (SABG) is excited to announce our latest contract win! The Call Order is supporting the Office of Railroad Safety (RRS) through the Department of Transportation (DOT)’s Services for Technical Writing, Editorial, Presentation and Communications (STEPC) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) program and is our first win under the BPA!
SABG will supply Documentation Support Specialists to assist the RRS’s Business Operations and Strategy Division in various functional areas including program management, finance, budget, acquisition, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Safety Waiver Board support.
The RRS is overseen by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), which is managed by the DOT. The main mission of the FRA is to promote safe, dependable, and structured movement of individuals and products throughout the nation. In securing this mission, the FRA is responsible for encouraging and managing the safety of the railroad industry by enforcing compliance in six key areas: grade crossing, hazardous material, motive power and equipment, operating practices, signal and train control, and track. Regulation and inspection compliance is ensured by nearly 400 Federal Safety Inspectors, each specializing in one of the six disciplines.
