Strategic Alliance Business Group LLC (SABG), with the support of our employees, is pleased to announce our recent corporate donation to Mobility Worldwide. Mobility Worldwide builds and distributes hand-cranked wheelchair carts to people in developing countries who cannot walk.
The carts assembled through this program provide the recipients with the ability to move and get to work or school so they can support themselves and their families. Not only do they receive the gift of mobility, but also a stronger sense of pride and self-worth. SABG’s donation will enable the construction of three carts.
SABG CEO Keri Mungo shared her thoughts on this year’s employee donation selection:
“We first learned about Mobility Worldwide through one of our employees, Deputy Program Manager Phil Jolly, who has volunteered with the organization through our Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program and in his personal time.
The impact of these carts is undeniable and brings people not only the ability to work, study, and feed their family, but also the dignity that comes with providing for oneself.”
Each summer, SABG invites employees to collectively choose a $1,000 donation recipient. Staff members vote among several nonprofit organizations, and the entity with the most votes receives a contribution from the company. This year, our employees chose Mobility Worldwide, and we couldn’t be happier to play a role in supporting them.
SABG is a privately-owned professional services company that is both a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned and Women-Owned Small Business. We provide support to commercial and Federal Government customers in the areas of Engineering Services, Program Management, Strategic Planning, Warfighter Integration, Acquisition Management, and Facility Operations.
