Award-Winning Employer
SABG offers a dynamic and empowering workplace recognized for innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to veterans. Discover meaningful opportunities, great benefits, and a mission-focused culture where your work makes a difference.
Our Commitment to Veterans
At SABG, we deeply value the dedication and expertise veterans bring to our team. Founded by leaders with military roots, we are committed to creating meaningful career opportunities for transitioning service members, veterans, and their families. Through mentorship, professional development, and additional benefits, we provide a supportive environment where veterans can thrive.
Veteran Resource Group
SABG’s veteran resource group supports new employee veterans by helping them relate their military experience to their civilian job. SABG reaches out to transitioning veterans in their last year of service and provides one-on-one support as well as a retirement checklist that supplements the Transition Assistance Program. The retirement checklist helps them adapt to the civilian work environment, understand retirement benefits, and more. SABG also connects new employee veterans with community groups such as Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and Still Serving Vets (SSV) to support their transition. Regardless of whether they choose to come work at SABG, these military personnel are provided additional support to help them through their transition.
New veteran employees at SABG are paired with a company sponsor, a fellow SABG employee who is also a veteran, to train and mentor them. The SABG senior leadership team, comprised of veterans, and our retired military mentors come from every branch of service. They are familiar with work experience in the military and military skill sets and help the new veteran employees relate and leverage their experience to current company opportunities. SABG presents career progression information and, where possible, promotes from within before hiring externally. Tuition assistance and professional training courses are also available for employees to utilize in support of their civilian career growth.
Employee Charity Vote
Each summer, SABG invites employees to collectively choose SABG’s next donation recipient. Staff members vote among several nonprofit organizations, and the entity with the most votes receives a sizeable contribution from the company.
Round-the-Clock Giving
In addition to our structured corporate responsibility programs, SABG regularly addresses needs in our employees’ lives and communities as they arise. For example, we’ve purchased shoes for kids in need, sponsored a local baseball team, collected cans to build a playground in Kenya, and helped fund the creation of hand-powered carts for people with limited mobility.
